James Webb vs Current Cosmology

SMACS J0723 - The Deepest Image taken by Webb (by Google Images)

The James Webb Space Telescope has taken a lot of images like the new image of the Carina Nebula, the most prominent photo of Neptunian Rings and many more. The image shown above is the farthest photo taken. This is cluster SMACS 0723, which is a distance of about 13.6 billion light-years, also known as 200 million years after the Big Bang.

The branch of Astronomy dealing with the universe's evolution is Cosmology.
The reason we are talking about this particular image is that this questions the standard understanding of Cosmology.

Current Cosmology

The current cosmology states that the Big Bang was a violent explosion of a singularity that released tons of energy into the universe. This energy cooled down into the matter in the early universe. The highly dense regions of the universe formed giant stars. The rapid usage of gas and matter led to the creation of a mammoth number of stars which were slowly arranged into regions called Galaxies. This slow evolution led to the circumstances of today.

Webb's image vs our understanding

The oldest galaxy discovered by Webb is GLASS z-13. It formed about 300 million years after the Big Bang. But our understanding states that galaxies of this size were formed a few million years later! So, is the Big Bang Theory false?

You might say that the big bang might have taken place a bit earlier but I tell you, this has nothing to do with the time duration! It so happens that, at that point, there isn't that much matter for such a large galaxy to form!

State True or False:

1) Big Bang -

Ok... the Big Bang is false... or at least in this case.
The Big Bang is True in many cases such as it can predict accurately when the elements were formed and contained in what region, it can expect the time of galaxy formations and many more.

This is a perplexing mystery that many cosmologists are trying to solve. Many other scientists are trying to verify the theories with the findings of Webb.
Oh well! A new discovery is always very exciting!
